Ken started in the early 70s as a resident guitarist at the Queens Hotel at Basford, from there he went on to join The Hi-Lites dance band from Leek, as a gitarist he then went on to play bass
Been playing bass eversince with various bands, including A Rory Gallaher Tribute Band , A jazz band called Tuxedo Junction and now with Feet First
His influences are - Jaco Pastorious, Steely Dan, Carlos Santana and Joe Pass

Flash-And Pop Group Man Dies At The Dance
A member of the Stoke-on-Trent pop group The See-Saws was electrocuted at the North Staffordshire
Polytecnic, Beaconside, Stafford, last night.
The group had gone on to play at a college dance and were preparing to start when the accident occurred.
Kevin Green, aged 23 of Meir-road , Longton, the lead guitarist, was starting to play, holding the
microphone, when he suddenly collapsed.
Police And Ambulance men who were called to give the kiss of life and tried to artifical respiration,
but when examined at the Staffordshire General Infirmary.
Mr Green was found to be dead.
On Realising what had happened some girl teenagers among the 400 dancers ran crying from the hall.
The dance was held up for two hours while police and electricians examined the equipment to try to
find out what has happened.
When they had satisified themselfs the equipment was safe, the dance continued to the music of other groups
and records.
Holding Inquiry
The President of the Student,s Union, Mr Les Blues, said Mr Green,s guitar appered to brush against the
miccrohone, and some of those present saw a flash.
To-day the Polytechnic Director, Dr J. F. Dickenson, expressed regret at what had happened and said they would be holding an inquiry to setablish if any faulty, though this seemed unlikely.
These things do happen from time to time and the usual cause is that the ampilfier chassis becomes live,
he added.
The Coroner, Mr Edward Huntbach, has been informed and will be opening the inquest early next week.
Car Business
Kevin, a former pupil at Carmountside Junior High School, had a second hand car sales business at
Bucknall, in partnership with a friend.
Kevin,s parents own a newsagents shop at Normacot.
The groups drummer , Noel Leese, of 13 Alexander-road Normacot, told the Sentinel: " Kevin reached
out to adjust the microphone and his guitar seemed to hit it. Then there was a blinding flash.
The group - formed three years ago - and were due to start a tour of Sweden. They had appered on television in Germany and Wales
