biography

Noel (percussion/vocals) started with a band called See-Saw,appearing In the early 1960s, Then onto a Band called The Symbols, Who Had 2 Songs called Bye Bye Baby & Best Part Of Breaking Up In The Charts, in 1967 When The Band Split up, Noel Went with a Band Called Playground, And they appeared on a TV programme, called Opportunity Knocks in 1968, and then on a radio slot with John Peel.
After seven years of touring Europe with other sessions musicians and backing people like Billy Fury (Halfway To Paradise), Horace Faith (Black Pearl) Hedgehoppers Anonymous (It’s Good News Week)Engelbert Humperdinck ( The Last Waltz) And Tony Christie (is this The Way To Amarilo) The McCoys ( Hang on Sloopy )The Casuals (Jesamine) Then with The Sid Lawrence Orchestra. Noel then toured all over Scotland with Lulu (shout).
After touring Noel joined a band called Why Not? They became famous for our 18th Century Horror hanging show, which did include a live hanging scene. The band appeared on a TV programme called New Faces, and also had the front page of the Sunday People ‘Hanged For Fun’ November 2nd 1975.
Two,s Up (Noel & John Hulse) Started Recording with some new material at SS Recording in Stoke on trent,Then We went to Tamworth

Zero Records Label to put the four songs on an EP in 1981,
Two,s Up was the recording name and also the stage name of the duo, we did the songs and passed the tapes on to Ian Sutherland ,of the band called Sutherland Brothers, and sent the tapes off to Lift Off with Ayshea, and also to Opportunity Knocks.
Noel played with a band called lazy then with an AC/DC tribute band called the Pot Heads
Noel has also been on live gigs for two years on the road with David Parton who had a hit with a version of Stevie Wonders song isn’t she lovely. Noel also jammed with Climax Blues Band Colin Cooper. Also Noel played with Legendary Lonnie, for 3 years and then on to a band called Revival for a year. Noel is now working with The Mixtures Who Had A Hit In The 60s With The Push Bike Song
Noel also has had the privilege to play and support lots of famous bands and artists:-
The Who, Pink Floyd, Yes, Love Affair, The Buddy Rich Orchestra, The Searchers, The Swinging Blue Jeans, The Hollies, The Gunn, The Moody Blues, Smoke, Herman’s Hermits.
Noel also appeared on The X-Factor show, and he got to round 3 in May 2007.
Noel now plays Working Men’s clubs, Haven Holiday Camp’s, many local pubs and clubs and private, corporate functions, special events, celebrations, local, national and international
